Valisa Tate is an Art Director with 14 years of advertising agency experience. While working at Young & Rubicam she produced a print ad for Icehouse as well as a national print campaign for USPS. While working at D'Arcy, she produced a print campaign for Scope, a print ad for Crest MultiCare Whitening, a TV spot for Crest Toothbrushes and a TV campaign for Progresso Soup. UniWorld Group is where she produced TV campaigns for 3Musketeers, Burger King and Pepsi.

Seven years ago, Valisa transitioned her full-time employment into a freelance capacity in order to pursue a second career in the modeling and acting industry. The revamping of her career gave her the opportunity to model in advertising campaigns for: Budweiser, Aerosoles, Rocawear, Optimum Rewards and Target. Modeling her size 6 feet in showrooms for various footwear companies such as Circa Joan & David, Kenneth Cole, Max Studio and LifeStride has been her main modeling gig since 2003. Some acting and crew credits include a principal role on "Important Things with Demetri Martin", photo double work on "Ugly Betty" and stand-in work on "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" and "The Sopranos".

Valisa's experience as an art director, a model, an actor and a crew member all have contributed to her a unique skill set. She has an understanding of every aspect of the creative process which gives her a leg up on the competition.

Valisa graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Advertising. She continued her graduate studies at Portfolio Center with an emphasis in Art Direction and Graphic Design. Valisa is a member of SAG, AFTRA and the New York Film Society.
